Green Cauldron Farm is located just outside the picturesque village of Tyalgum in the Northern Rivers region of NSW. It has been established as a research and development hub to realise the goal of showcasing local, organic produce and sustainable farming models. The farm grows heirloom and baby vegetables, specialty salad greens and unique herbs. By using integrated pest management (IPM) practices, the farm is chemical free and also produces edible flowers under the brand bloom edible flowers.
The vision for the farm is to develop into an education and training centre based around the productive market gardens. The goal is to educate, encourage and inspire people to understand the importance of sustainable and regenerative agriculture and convince others to join the emerging new generation of small-scale farmers.

Advocate for Environmental Education and promote best practice.
Support and contribute to skills development among educators across Australia and internationally.
Help our Association members to stay at the forefront of sustainability education and behaviour change.
Provide a network for cross-sector environmental educators.
AAEE has three major roles:
Promote the effective use of education to help people to live more sustainably.
Support members via professional development.
Build strong local networks that facilitate collaboration and skill sharing.
AAEE administers the "Getting Started With Sustainability" website www.sustainabilityinschools.edu.au, developed in response to research by the Australian Education for Sustainability Alliance (AESA) with expert environmental educators across Australia. AAEE is advocating for the reinstatement of federal funding of the Australian Sustainable Schools Initiative (AuSSI) and has recently released Sustainability Curriculum Mapping and Climate Change education resources.
Since 2018, AAEE Qld has been working closely with the Sustainable Schools Network and we are excited to be Founding Partners of SSN.

Eco Avengers is an in-school educational program designed to teach our children the best way to care for their environment. The Eco Avengers' program has been written by practising teachers to align with the Queensland curriculum. Eco Avengers is available to city schools, as well regional schools with our travelling facilitators and program resources.
The Eco Avengers program is not only designed to educate students, but with the interactive activities and take-home challenges, we aim to nurture their innate curiosity and passion for the environment to encourage students to go home and engage in conversations with their families on the topic of sustainability and put into practise actions for a sustainable lifestyle.
Our aim is to engage, educate and enlist a team of Eco Avengers that will become everyday heroes and help protect and save our Earth. We target school aged children as the change-makers. Due to their natural curiosity and desire for environmental peace, they have the ability to spark sustainable living conversations within their households, leading to environmental change.
