The SSN Journal is designed and created to share stories of how schools, teachers, organisations, students and parents educate for sustainability. This is not a 'how to' guide rather a collection of case studies aimed at inspiring action and inviting you to learn from others.

This paper highlights the importance of strategic and collaborative approaches which could easily be adopted to ensure Queensland joins the growing international community educating for sustainability. Download EFS Discussion Paper and EFS Elections Recommendations.

Take the Education for Sustainability survey here.  The SSN would love to hear about what is happening in your local school and area.  Your contribution will form part of our strategy for action in 2021.

The Climate Action Project is a six-week challenge that aims to reach 10 million students in 100+ countries.  The project is open-ended and encourages cross-country collaboration.  In Australia this program is supported by Pivot.

The SSN is thrilled to partner with ClimateClever to help our schools and community to reduce their carbon footprint and save money on utility bills! 🌿 We are committed to leading the way in transitioning to a low carbon future.

There are many ways you can help the SSN in our second year... you could volunteer your time, become a sponsor of our events, donate here, encourage your school to become a member, or use our container refund scheme ID to donate to us: C10217543

We urge you to take this opportunity to support the SSN to raise awareness about the opportunities associated with increased understanding for the cross curriculum priority of sustainability within the Australian Curriculum that is required to be taught in all Queensland schools.
